Fluid and imaginative results in water media express Jane Dorr’s style in landscape and marine painting. The use of collage and other “special effects” enhance her Maine watercolors.

Her paintings have been selected four times by the Maine Pine Tree Society for their annual Christmas card and have won numerous awards including the Arthur Hahn Memorial Award at the WCSH TV Portland Art Show.

Jane is a member of the Mid-Maine Art Guild and the Kennebec Art Club. Her work may be seen at the Fore Street Gallery in Portland, Maine; The Kindness Farm Gallery, Woolwich, Maine; and Northport Landing in Northport, Maine. Her work is included in private collections across the US, France, Germany, Norway, Portugal and Denmark.
